B & C oil filter adapter kits are approved for most Lycoming engines. Both the adapter body and spacer are machine manufactured, from one-piece billets, to a high quality finish. The adapter has provision for the standard Lycoming Vern-a therm by-pass valve and oil temperature probe.

The spin on oil filter is designed to use the Champion CH48108 oil filter. Once installed, the spin on oil filter adapter allows the oil to be filtered the same way, as Lycoming engines built with a Champion spin on oil filter as standard. Additionally, oil filter checks are made much simpler and cleaner at less time costs.
